Divorce Doesn’t Have to Be Nuclear Warfare

Nobody hates divorce more than the couples who have been through contentious, destructive breakups. When emotions settle down and life moves on, they often look back and wish someone had guided them through a separation that would have protected each other’s finances, emotions, and family relationships.

It’s easy to look back and see the mistakes. That’s why, when one or both partners decide divorce is inevitable, they are wise to take steps to keep drama and destruction to an absolute minimum – and to maximize the long-lasting benefits of a respectful dissolution under the guidance of a highly experienced marriage law professional.

Because I hate divorce too, I spend my time helping countless couples part ways with minimal bitterness and minimal collateral damage. Believe me, they don’t always begin in a mood for mutual respect, but in the end they see the wisdom in it.

Divorce does not have to end in hatred and a lopsided settlement. Time and time again I have guided parents through a divorce in which child custody was not determined by ferocious battles but by cool heads and mutual respect – reinforced by a legal contract.

Many issues combine to make divorce one of the most complex and influential events of life. There’s not much I haven’t seen after 30 years as a marriage law attorney. I help couples salvage their possessions and financial assets, their families and businesses, and their peace of mind. The ones who try to save a dollar by handling the divorce saga themselves almost always end up spending thousands more on legal battles over custody, child support, property, and shared business concerns. Meanwhile, family relationships are poisoned.

If you or your spouse has decided divorce is inevitable – or even probable – call me right now.

Daniel Clement protected my interests fiercely, yet understood the value of avoiding long disputes.

His experience saved me from a prolonged and emotional divorce. He interfaced with my former wife's attorney timely and sternly when needed. Dan's rates are very fair, no overbilling, rather his experience goes a long way in avoiding unnecessary costs.

As my situations changed, Dan was patient and put my needs first in an emotional divorce involving a child not yet emancipated and a jointly held house. The outcome was a set of stipulations that each party could live with.

Dan attended the closing for me on short notice, the sale of the marital abode went off without a hitch, both parties are very happy. I consider Dan a friend and welcome the opportunity to spread the word about this fine attorney.

Daniel Clement represented me successfully in several family-law matters, the most important of which gained me custody of my son. I've known Daniel for almost 10 years. I trust his advice and would recommend him without reservation.

Daniel has been a straight forward and reasonable person who has been able to breakdown legalese to me and making the process understandable.

He is prompt in answering my concerns and so far I'm seeing good results with my case. I would recommend him for his professionalism and concern for his clients.
